I almost missed the good news at the bottom of the post because all the endodontal badness that preceeded it make me queasy (I have acute dental fears, so just reading that made me twitchy). The whole thing sounds like it sucked big time, and you are to be heartily congratulated for having survived it.
But you're to be even further congratulated for the excellent school news. Go you. Congrats!
